Frequently Asked Questions

The system uses two main membership types:

  • Regular: A player enrolled as a regular/season-pass player for the season. Coverage and charges depend on the season's pass settings and any player-specific prepaid-game configuration.
  • Drop-in: A player who participates on a per-game basis. Drop-in attendance is subject to available spots and the applicable approval or waitlist process.

The labels shown in the portal may use "Season Pass Holder" and "Approved Drop-In" for these membership types.

The cutoff is calculated from the scheduled game date and time.

  • Before the cutoff, eligible Regular/pass-holder players can receive priority when a game is full.
  • Around the 48-hour mark, the system may rebalance a full game by moving confirmed Drop-ins to the waitlist to make room for waiting Regular players.
  • At or after the cutoff, a Regular player no longer bypasses capacity when checking in.
  • If you report an absence after the cutoff, that game is not refunded or rolled over.

The waitlist is for players who want to play but cannot currently be added to a specific game. When a spot becomes available, eligible waitlisted players may be promoted and sent a confirmation notification.

Waitlist entries are considered according to the applicable priority rules:

  • Entries are considered in join order.
  • Player capacity and goalie capacity apply where applicable.
  • At the 48-hour rebalance, waiting Regular players may receive priority over confirmed Drop-ins.

A waitlist entry is not a guarantee of a spot or of being offered another game.

A qualifying Regular/pass-holder absence may count as a rollover, up to the season's rollover limit.

  • The game must not be cancelled, and the applicable timing and account rules must be satisfied.
  • An absence after the 48-hour cutoff does not receive a refund or rollover.
  • Carried rollover games may be converted into account credit when a player registers as Drop-in in a later season; the credit uses the application's configured rollover calculation.

The account ledger can include several types of charges and credits:

  • Season-pass or other prepaid charges.
  • Per-game Drop-in charges and extra games beyond covered pass or rollover coverage.
  • Rollover credits, payments, and administrative adjustments.

A positive balance means an amount is owed; a negative balance means account credit. Payment records are maintained in the player account. External payment instructions and confirmation should be followed as provided by the organizers.

Season passes help stabilize the game schedule. They ensure that we have a solid base player population and allow us to better plan for each week's game schedule.

Benefits of a season pass include:

  • Lower overall cost compared to paying for individual games
  • Priority for spots in games when they fill up
  • Ability to use rollover game days
  • More reliable and predictable scheduling

Season Pass Holders also get access to priority waitlist handling when spaces open up.

Yes, you can register as a drop-in player. However, for drop-in players, we have a limited number of spots available for each game. Drop-in games must be approved before being added to the game.

Additionally, if you're a Season Pass Holder, you can also play as a drop-in, with the difference being that you may be charged additional fees for games beyond what's covered by your season pass and rollovers.

You will be able to register for drop-in games through the system. We recommend early registration so spots remain available for you.

For players in good standing, you can cancel by going to the game details page and clicking the "Cancel" button. This should be done well in advance so we can offer the spot to someone else.

For last-minute cancellations:

  • Our system will automatically move players from the waitlist to the game list based on priority.
  • If a game is full before 48 hours from the game date, you won't lose your spot as the system prioritizes waitlisted players based on the 48-hour rule.
  • You can also use rollover days for games you miss, which don't count against your season pass allocation.

It's always best to let us know if you will or won't attend a game as soon as possible so we can update our roster.
